Bethany Church of the Nazarene
Bethany Church of the Nazarene is a multigenerational and multicultural congregation located in the Rumford section of East Providence, Rhode Island.
Bethany follows the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition, emphasizing scriptural holiness and a mission to share the teachings of Jesus Christ.
It is part of the global Church of the Nazarene.
What We Believe
As a Church of the Nazarene congregation, we join Christians around the world in affirming the historic Christian faith centered on Jesus Christ.
We believe in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully human, who died and rose again for the salvation of humanity.
We believe the Holy Spirit draws people to God, transforms lives, and guides believers.
We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and our authority for faith and Christian living.
We believe salvation is available to all through God's grace and is received through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe God calls believers to a life of holiness, Christlike character, and spiritual growth.
We believe the Church is called to worship God, make disciples, serve others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

To make Christlike disciples in the nations.
