Our Beliefs

Bethany Church of the Nazarene is part of the Church of the Nazarene, a Protestant Christian denomination in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition.

The Triune God

We believe in one eternal God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man who died for our sins and rose again.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit draws people to Christ and sanctifies believers.

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible is inspired by God and contains all truth necessary for faith and Christian living.

Sin and Salvation

We believe all people need the grace of God, and through Jesus Christ forgiveness and new life are offered to all who repent and believe.

Entire Sanctification

We believe God calls believers to holy living through the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.

The Church

We believe the Church is called to worship, discipleship, fellowship, compassion, and mission.

Baptism and Communion

We believe baptism and the Lord’s Supper are sacraments of the Church.
